Best Power Armor In Fallout 4

If you need extra defensive capabilities that the conventional Base and Armor layers do not provide in Fallout 4, you are probably going to need Power Armor. Of course, a Fusion Core and the Base Frame are essential. But knowing when to use the best Power Armor configurations at certain points of the game is another story. Here is a list of some of the best Power Armors in Fallout 4.

Raider Power Armor

The Raider Power Armor (Raider and Raider II) is great for the early stages of the game.

The initial Raider Power Armor has a Physical Damage Resistance (DR) of +500, an Energy DR of +250, and a Radiation DR of +1050. The Raider II Power Armor has a Physical DR of +650, an Energy DR of +250, and a Radiation DR of +1050. Its HP is 700, its Weight is 112.1, and its value is 493. It can be repaired with Steel (x20). Its upgrade component is Aluminum (x23).

You can obtain the Raider Power Armor off of several raider leaders, as well as in a variety of locations. In the town of Lexington, for example, you can defeat two raiders, one Fat Man-armed raider on a roof across from the Corvega Plant, and the other is a pipe rifle-armed raider on top of the building that surrounds the swimming pool.

There is also a set of full armor next to a dead raider in the Cave location, on the raider “Boomer” in Outpost Zimonja, in a corner of the Roadside Pines Motel, on a raider near the Wreck of the USS Riptide, on a raider at the Federal Ration Stockpile, on a raider at the top of the Massachusetts State House, on “Cutty” in the Poseidon Energy plant, on the Gunners’ Tessa (Tessa’s Fist), on a raider in the Dunwich Borers, in a cave of the Glowing Sea, on a raider veteran in Libertalia, in Saugus Ironworks, and in Bunker Hill.

You can buy the armor from Rowdy in Atom Cats garage. If you join the Brotherhood of Steel, multiple raiders wear this armor.

A full suit of the T-45 is available during the quest “When Freedom Calls“. It is on the Museum of Freedom roof next to the crashed Vertibird. Its right leg and left arm are damaged, and it is the only full T-45 suit not based on the main character’s level.

If Bridget is dead at Hub City Auto Wreckers, a Gunner will re-spawn on the overpass there. They will always have T-45 pieces. Rowdy also sells T-45 pieces.
