Watch Dogs 2 Pros and Cons
There is a ton of positive in the game that would be too much. We go over the top best pros in Watch Dogs 2.
The open-world experience is just amazing. The amount of activities in this open map is just overwhelming. The amount of hours it will take you to complete all the activities is just too much.
There is a ton of missions. There is a lot of side missions, along with a ton of main missions. We are not even mentioning online activities. When you take a good look at the map, it will leave struggling on where to begin.
The game is very detailed. From the NPC to the general items place on the game is a big upgrade from the first game. The NPCs are busy most of the time. There are not static and at times you might wonder what are they doing.
Other games similar to this NPC behavior is Assassins Creed Unity. The NPCs seemed like they’re doing something. Which improves the real experience. This type of NPCs makes the game feel so much realistic.
You can fast travel anywhere. This is very handy if you don’t want to drive everywhere. You can just hit a button and you’re set to go to the desired location.

Side missions are not necessary for the main story. A lot of games do require completion of the side mission to unlock parts of the main mission. At times this could be annoying and boring depending on the quality of the side mission. This is not an issue in Watch Dogs 2.
Although Watch Dogs is an exception, Ubisoft is known to mandate side missions in order to advance in the main missions. They really their player base to have the best experience while playing Watch Dogs 2.
The in-mission choices is a big plus. You no longer have to a be a hacker stealth mode in all the game mission, but you can go, Rambo, if you would like. Although the game is about stealth and hacking, you can flare things up once in a while.
You can do a lot more with hacking. When you hack something, you’re given a variety of options on what to do with the hacked machine. For example, a car. You can select the direction in which the car is to go. This is something that the first game lacked.
The Cons of Watch Dogs 2
Although the game is very good overall, there are still some things it could improve. After all, the game is no near a perfect game.
The structure of the main missions is too repetitive. Most of the main mission is basically go a restricted area, get some data or hack something and then leave the area. This may be annoying after playing for long hours.
The gunplay experience is underwhelming. The gunplay experience is under par with other games such as Mafia 3 and Far Cry. The quality of the gun interactions feels the very low quality.
Some glitches and technical issues. We found some of these bugs mostly playing online. The offline experience was close to flawless in terms of bugs. Ubisoft has a done a good job patching bugs up in a timely matter.
Holloway’s movements are not well optimized. This is not a deal breaker but the lack of movement options and optimization is very lacking. It does not feel real and feels like something is off at times.
Mission mid checkpoints are limited. This is another annoying this you might find playing the game for a long period. You have to approach mid missions carefully or you going to start well behind again. It is not a big deal but something to keep in mind.

Watch Dogs 2 is not a flawless game but it definitely does bring a lot of value. Now that the game is past launch price make this is a must-have game. Find the best price on Amazon.
